The very un-circus-like and über-poised and successful Jeffrey Fashion Cares, which for 17 years has been collecting insane amounts of money (more than $9 million) for AIDS and breast cancer research, is a luxe charitable fashion show that everybody who’s anybody is at. The Aug. 30 event is understandably pricey—tickets and patron packages run from $1,500 to $25,000. So let’s get real, not everybody is going to make it to the main show.
However, this year’s circus-themed after party has been made available to the public, and this shindig only costs a fraction of that. Plus, you’ll still be helping charity. My wife and I are honored to be on the party’s host committee. The post-show bash will immediately follow Jeffrey Fashion Cares and will be held at Opera in Midtown beginning at 9 p.m.
