You’re pretty lucky, sitting there all cozy in the heat with a full belly, dreaming of the sugar plums or eggnog you’ll indulge in this weekend. Why not share your good fortune with a furry pal who could really use somewhere special to call home before the holidays?
On Saturday, Dec. 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Fulton County Animal Services will hold a “Home for the Holidays” pet adoption event at the shelter located at 860 Marietta Blvd.
More than 100 homeless pets will be available for adoption, so consider the sweet furry gift that keeps on giving. There will be all sorts of critter fun including raffles, bake sale, low cost microchips, ask-a-vet booth, ask-the-trainer booth, rabies vaccinations, 500 free Fulton County license tags, special guest Santa Claus and pictures with your pet with Santa. In addition, you can register your pet to be spayed or neutered through the County’s SNAP (Spay Neuter & Assistance) Program. For more information, call 404-613-0358.
