Kevin Gillespie signs two-book deal

Well, I can’t say I’m surprised, but I’m certainly giddy and proud that Atlanta’s Woodfire Grill chef and owner, and Bravo’s “Top Chef” Season Six Fan Favorite, Kevin Gillespie is continuing to make a name for himself.

The wooly, tatted chef is teaming up with best-selling, award-winning cookbook author David Joachim in a two-book deal. With recipes conceptualized through quality ingredients, mirroring the kitchen at Woodfire Grill, the cookbooks showcase Kevin’s passion for his food through rustic, raw and “heirloomesque” photos and celebrate Kevin’s philosophy that learning is one of the key values in good cooking.

Gena Berry is the recipe editor on this project.

The books are scheduled for release in Fall 2012 and Fall 2013.
