My Sisters’ Room (222 E. Howard Ave., Decatur), Atlanta’s only lesbian bar until the opening of I-Candy, is closing its doors on December 15th so that the entire street can be mowed down for, you guessed it, more condos. Rumor has it the owner plans to purchase a bar up in Marietta (rhymes with Le Scuzz) but is considering something closer to its old stomping grounds—possibly on Clairmont Rd.
