The BET Hip-Hop awards took place last night (Sun.) at Fox Theater. To set off the show, Ludacris, Young Jeezy, and Jermaine Dupri welcomed everyone to Atlanta, with their version of the Jermaine Dupri-hit “Welcome To Atlanta” (and this one featured the show’s announcer Lil Jon). Performances from Ludacris, Young Jeezy, T.I., and DJ Unk proved that Atlanta is the new center of hip hop. Outside of the show, Luda was sporting a foul hooded sweatshirt, which featured cigarettes and pagers. … All that money, and he can’t get a stylist to be honest with him. Sigh… From Lil’ Wayne to Snoop Dogg to Monica (looking lovely in D&G) to Nelly to P. Diddy to the Ying Yang Twins, all the stars in hip hop were on hand to support BET in its first ever hip-hop awards show. The BET Hip-Hop awards will air on BET Wed., Nov. 15, at 9 p.m.
